FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS!

How much is tuition?

Please see our "classes" page and click on Tuition and Fees to download our tuition info. We have a sliding scale tuition that is based on how many hours dancers are in studio per week.

Is there a fee to be on a waitlist?

NO! There is no charge to be on any of our waitlists. You will be contacted if a spot opens up and will have 48 hours to respond. You will only be charged once we have confirmed the registration with you. If a registration charge pops up in the portal after you have been waitlisted do not make a payment.

What is the likelihood my dancer will get into a class with a waitlist?

We have no way of knowing if a spot will open up but we usually have some movement in September and October! We cannot make any quarentees!

Do you have a waiting room?

Yes! We have a small waiting area you are welcome to sit in while your dancer(s) are in class. You are able to see and hear class from this area BUT parents and siblings are not allowed in the studio area during class time. You can also drop off and enjoy the shops and dining in downtown Waxhaw!

What should my dancers wear to class?

Please see our "Dress Code" tab for what is required for each class.

Can my dancer come to a trial class before we enroll?

No. We no longer offer trial classes. If you wish to try out a class you can register your dancer for class and try it for one month! If it's not a good fit you can easily withdraw your dancer and no other fees will be due. Dancers must be withdrawn by the next billing cycle (first of the next month) or you will be charged in full.

When does the next session begin?

We offer 2 sessions: Fall and Summer. Our Fall session goes from September thru May and ends with our recital! Our summer session runs in June and July!

Registration opens online in March for summer and April for fall!

What age can dancers begin?

We offer classes for ages 3 and up! Dancers must be 3 by September 1st.

How do I know what level my dancer should be in?

We place dancers based on age and ability. Level classes are for dancers who are new to dance or have 3 years of experience or less.

Company and advanced classes are for experienced and dedicated dancers with at least 5+ years of previous training and an instructor recommendation is required.

Call or email us if you are not sure!

Is Recital Participation required?

No, but it is highly encouraged and will definitely be one of the highlights of your dancer's year! Dancing in our recital is really special and exciting and a great way to show off what they have learned all year!
