Our Teachers
Taylor Nadreau ( Founder and Artistic Director) is a classically trained professional dance teacher previously working in the metro- Boston market. She is trained in tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, contemporary, hip hop and was fortunate to study ballet under the instruction of Miss Roseanne Ridings of the Boston Ballet. At the age of 15 Taylor was selected for a teaching apprenticeship under the director of DNE school of dance. During her apprenticeship Taylor began teaching all forms of dance to every age and level, learning from many of Boston's premier instructors. She studied dance pedagogy with hands on training from elite dance teachers for more than 5 years. She then began teaching her own classes and continued to do so throughout high school and college. In college she was a member of an award winning competitive dance team, competing at local and national levels. After graduating, Taylor continued working with hundreds of dancers performing all over New England. In 2015 Taylor brought her classical training and instructional experience to her own studio here in Waxhaw! Taylor is focused on creating a positive learning environment and has developed a dance curriculum that stresses technique and performance presence. She is thrilled to share her passion for dance with her students and truly loves her job!

Ricki Feeley was born and raised in Montana and began her Dance training at the age of 4, with the three basic styles of dance: Ballet/Pointe, Jazz, and Tap. As a dance major at the University of Montana, Ricki discovered modern/contemporary dance which became her main focus of study, and received several scholarships and awards for her dancing and choreography. Ricki was trained in a wide range of dance techniques and dance related studies such as Ballet, Modern Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Caribbean, African, Balinese, Pilates, Yoga, Choreography and Performance, Anatomy and Physiology, Dance History, Contact Improvisation, Laban Theory and Notation, Drama, Stage Management, Teaching dance to People with Disabilities, Teaching Dance to Children, Class Preparation, meticulously in Advanced Modern Techniques. Summer scholarships lead Ricki to perform and study in Seattle and San Francisco. Receiving Awards of Excellence in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005, Ricki graduated from the University of Montana in 2005 with a BFA in dance with an emphasis in choreography and performance.
Ricki has been teaching dance to children and adults for over twenty years. She recently moved to Waxhaw after teaching multiple technical levels and dance styles at the School of Classical Ballet in Billings, MT for ten years. Ricki is the co-founder of Montana’s children’s dance company MADco. She also founded and directed her own professional dance company, Terpsichore, which performed for 9 years in Montana until her departure. Ricki is proud to be currently teaching at Dance Carolina. She and her husband are busy raising three beautiful children.
Savannah Schoenborn-Gimon is a dancer, choreographer and educator in the Charlotte area. She has been recognized for outstanding talent and dedication. She has performed in many local Charlotte shows, American Dance Festival, Charleston Performing Arts Center in 10 original shows and one written (Sweet Charity), and is a dancer and the Show Captain at Carowinds Theme Park.
Savannah has trained extensively with renowned instructors from New York and North Carolina such as Kirk Sprinkles, Madame Stephanie Samaras, Jackie O’Toole, Melanie Sullivan-Coyle, Melissa Coyle, Meg Schiffen and Mia Cunningham. She assisted with choreography for the James Island Junior Theatre and was the assistant to Broadway veterans, Kirk Sprinkles and Judine Somerville (Original Cast of Hairspray). She received her BA in Dance Performance from Winthrop University and has studied all styles of dance.
Karlie O’Brien is a dancer, choreographer, and educator. She began her dance training at the age of 3. She has trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. She started teaching dance as a member and captain on her high school dance team and started teaching studio classes of all ages at Dance Carolina her junior year of high school. Since May of 2018, she has worked as a dance instructor for Universal Dance Association, teaching middle school and high school dance teams at intensive dance camps. She focuses on teaching proper dance technique and choreography in jazz, hip hop, lyrical, and pom. She also has performed and choreographed dances for her sorority dance team to compete with at school events. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in May 2021 with her Elementary Education degree and is now a teacher in Fort Mill School District. She is proud to be a part of such an amazing studio and is determined to continue her love of dance and passion for teaching and sharing it with her dancers.
